at ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) etc, our main purpose is to provide you with as much creative flexibility as possible. in terms of what you're allowed to do with your character, there will be no restrictions set. if you want to play a faux celeb, then make up your own credits or base it on movies and characters that are already out. want to be a starbucks employee or high school student? go ahead! or if you'd rather play someone living a double life then that will be encouraged - the more deep dark secrets, the better! this community will be based in los angeles, california and the surrounding cities, opening up a lot of doors for doing just whatever you might have had in mind for your character - the place is huge and filled with opportunities so you don't feel like you have to limit yourself to playing an average joe. for those of you unsure of what areas around los angeles to base your character in, we've come up with a list of some of the larger, more popular cities within the los angeles county: long beach, glendale, santa clarita, pomona, torrance, pasedena, palmdale, lancaster, el monte, inglewood, downey, west covina, norwalk and burbank. you are in no way limited to these towns and cities; they're simply a guideline for those of you unfamiliar with the area.
it should go without saying, the golden rules of rp still apply: no mixing ic/ooc and be mature as to not ruin the fun for anyone else. upon applying, we'll ask that you either have a post outlining some basic details regarding your character (we're not asking for a huge biography but a few points will suffice just so everyone gets the general idea) or to send in your examples. 1 challenge per face will be allowed but even this does not guarantee your membership into the community; if we feel your writing is not up to our standards, you will be rejected. the update limit will be 3 weeks and does not have to be an extravagant update assuming you are active on aim and the sub-communities in the meantime. as for pb faces, we will be accepting everyone from a-list celebrities to originals so long as the community won't be overrun by the same overly-tattooed hipster. we will also require ic uns and sns, just to make it easier to find each other. lastly, as far as storylines go, please don't go overboard with them. we will be putting a cap of 2-4 that you are allowed to come in with. please make sure that they are absolutely imperative to the development of your character because storylines without any real substance tend to hinder the interaction between members due to cliques and what not. overrides will be allowed only if they have not intro'd within the first 3 days of acceptance or after they hit 3 weeks. that's about it, so go nuts and have fun guys! if you have any ideas or suggestions, please comment on the screened post below, or if you're not sure about an idea that you had, feel free to shoot us a pm and we'll get back to you asap
